10 balls of Karma Cotton around a wooden duck and a vase with dried flowers

Karma Cotton

A word from the designer:

Karma Cotton is a pre-consumer product, which means that the recycled cotton is from yarn or fabric leftovers that have not previously been used for clothes. In order to be able to spin a stable, nice looking yarn from recycled textile waste, you need to add a fiber that stabilizes the short cotton fibers.

Recycled PET bottles are perfect for this job.

The yarn feels and looks like a high quality cotton, climate properties are also similar to cotton. The yarn is perfectly suitable for adult summer clothes as well as baby and children clothes.

Upcycling at its best!

  • Our Opinion

Karma Cotton is, in my opinion, one of those staple, must-have yarns. It’s great for beginners due to the thickness of the yarn. It’s easy to work with and a very stable yarn.

I’ve enjoyed knitting with this yarn very much. It knits up fast, doesn’t split and the finished product stays in excellent condition even after washing multiple times.

It is soft in texture, making it an excellent choice for baby garments.
