WoW! Gratté (vegan mohair)

Wow Gratté is a thicker version of Soft Gratté, with a felted appearance, but without animal fibres in its composition. Knit winter garments and accessories with a subtle felted look on circular needles. If you have sensitive skin that is irritated by natural yarns, you can create knitted projects with a Mohair appearance, but without experiencing any possible discomfort or allergic reactions.

Content: 80% acryl, 20% polyamide
Ball Weight: 100gr
Meters/Ball: 180
Knitting Gauge: 19 stitches; 24 rows =10x10cm
Needle Size: 4.5mm - 5mm
Hook Size: 5,5 - 6 mm
Care Instructions: Machine washable up to 30º. Do not tumble dry.
Our Opinion
Soft Gratté is one of those yarns that impressed me right away. I had to have it. It's soft, fluffy and really does look and feel like mohair, minus the itchyness. It feels and looks luxurious. WoW! Gratté is no different, just a little thicker!
Then I was a little dumb and picked the darkest colour for my test project. If you're a beginner knitter - pick one of the lighter colours! Picking up stitches with the fluff and a dark colour was a challenge.
The end result however is wonderful. This cardigan is soft, warm, beautiful and now that it's done, I kind of want to immediately start another Soft Gratté project. In a nice, light colour...
